Having children himself the founder decided not to be one of those statistics that tries to remedy a problem after the fact I, E, install a ladder after a fire, So he searched the then current market for a small compact fire escape ladder that was discreet and most importantly easy to use, There was nothing, They were all very large and prohibitively expensive, mainly metal and definitely not child friendly. B F E L ladders are light, discreet (the size of a tissue box) and made specifically with youngsters in mind, More importantly there are priced sensibly, so every home can afford one.
